J. van VLIET Glasgow Ltd. opened the doors on 22nd of August 2004. 

This cash & carry operates in partnership with Country Baskets opposite the Blochairn Wholesale Market (Junction 14 of the M8). 

J. van VLIET provides Fresh Flowers and Plants and Country Baskets Sundries.

 

By using our own transport company (J. Van Vliet Transport BV) we can offer fresh flowers on a Tuesday and Thursday from the previous Dutch auction day. This is normally not available on a regular basis in Scotland and offers you flowers which are a day fresher. 

Also it gives us more options then anyone else to cater for last minute orders of products we don’t have in stock in the cash & carry. 

 

Our fresh arrivals of flowers and plants from Holland are as follows:

- Monday auction arrives to us approx Tuesday 11am 

- Tuesday auction arrives to us Wednesday evening for Thursday’s trading

- Wednesday auction arrives to us approx Thursday 10:30am 

- Friday auction arrives to us Saturday evening for Sunday’s trading

 

We deliver to Monday till Friday: 

- To the East: as far as Livingston junction 3 M8

- To the North East: as far as Stirling

- To the North and West: as far as Helensburgh

- To the South and West: as far as Girvan incl Ayrshire

- To the South and East: as far as Gretna
